“We should not only discuss ethics, but also put it into practice, true to the motto: ethics in action.”

Bartosz Przybylek

What made you decide to work at ifok?

Digitalisation and sustainability are my passions and I believe that the twin transition is the key to solving many of the challenges of our time. To achieve this, we need not only technology, but also ethics. I am delighted to have the opportunity at ifok to support organisations in shaping digitalisation responsibly and sustainably.

How long have you been part of the ifok team and where were you before?

I have been part of the ifok team since November 2023. Before that, I founded the consultancy whyzer and established myself at the interface of digitalisation and sustainability. Previously, I was a strategy and digital consultant, ran toy shops in NRW and online shops and originally studied philosophy, religious studies and economic policy in Münster (Magister).

What sets you apart at the office?

I am creative, curious and like to try out new things. For example, I combine tools and processes from the digital economy, strategy consulting and sustainability management with methods of applied ethics. I believe that we should not only discuss ethics in theory, but also put it into practice, true to the motto: ethics in action.

What do you like doing in your free time?

In my spare time, I volunteer for the youth and landscape project at the Sportgarten Bremen, where I am responsible for grooming the donkeys’ coats and hooves, among other things. After a day full of online meetings, mucking out a stable or going for a walk with the donkeys is a good change of pace.
