Mobility Council on the State Concept Mobility and Climate in Baden-Württemberg

The participation process for the state concept Mobility and Climate includes the voices of citizens in the development of measures for the successful implementation of the traffic turnaround. Since the fall of 2022, citizens have been able to participate in the state concept Mobility and Climate Baden-Württemberg: 100 citizens were randomly selected to participate in the so-called Mobility Council. In all four administrative districts, they discussed the measures of the state concept, contributed their ideas and suggestions, and formulated recommendations. The Mobility Council has made the experiences, suggestions and findings of the citizens heard, and their recommendations can now be incorporated into policy.

Together with the Ministry of Transport Baden-Württemberg, ifok developed the concept for the Mobility Council Baden-Württemberg and accompanied and implemented it in all phases: from random selection and participant support to the involvement of experts and the implementation of a total of 12 meetings of the Mobility Council and a ceremonial handover event with the Minister of Transport, Winfried Hermann. In addition, ifok supports the strategic and political use of the results.
