“I prepare a special format of church services that take place once a month in my parish.”
Daniela Wolf-Horning
What made you decide to work at ifok?
I got to know ifok during my university studies in Mannheim. Hans-Peter Meister (the founder of ifok) held a seminar on communication as part of my degree in media and communication studies. I was fascinated by the diversity of ifok – and I still am today.
How long have you been part of the ifok team and where were you before?
I have been part of the ifok team since August 2000. Before that I studied and worked part-time as a nurse to finance my studies. Before my programme, I trained as a nurse and worked as a nurse for a few years.
What sets you apart at the office?
find that difficult to answer without sounding like self-praise. People who work with me say about me that I am prudent and forward-looking, that I like to laugh and always try to have an open ear.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I am very involved in the parish and here in the parish council, or – as it is called in our Protestant community – in the circle of elders. There I am responsible for the homepage and the parish newsletter, and I prepare a special format of church services that take place once a month.
