“I consider myself a team player who is transparent, honest and approachable for my colleagues.”
Annika Lauer
What made you decide to work at ifok?
I came to ifok because I wanted to put the skills I had previously learned to good use. And that turned into reality: I have been able to advance projects on the transformation of mobility, digitalization, and the environmental and climate protection. In addition, ifok offers me plenty of variety in my daily business thanks to the constant stream of new topics and tasks that challenge me.
How long have you been part of the ifok team and where were you before?
Before joining ifok in 2020, I worked at the content marketing agency Profilwerkstatt. I started there with an editorial traineeship after studying political science and sociology and then worked as an online editor.
What sets you apart at the office?
I am known in my project and proposal teams for being pragmatic and solution-oriented. However, I am never short on good humor. I consider myself a team player who is transparent, honest and approachable for my colleagues. It’s important to me to play an active role in shaping ifok, which is why among other things I’m involved as chair of the works council and organize a book club with colleagues.
What do you like doing in your free time?
Just like in my day-to-day work at ifok, it’s the variety that makes the difference for me. I regularly visit art exhibitions or go to the movies. I also read a lot, am active in several book clubs and try to be as active as possible with bouldering, yoga, cycling and hiking.
