German National Circular Economy Strategy
The circular economy has become an important pillar in the fight against climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss. The circular economy can also make a significant contribution to solving the scarcity problem by ensuring a secure supply of raw materials.
The German government describes the goals and framework conditions in a national circular economy strategy. For the transformation to a circular economy to succeed, business and society need to be equally involved. All perspectives have their say in a holistic, dialog-oriented strategy process.
