Devising the mobility of the future together

The mobility sector is in a process of radical change: the range of mobility options and the variety of forms of mobility are growing very rapidly – driven by digitalization and globalization.

Mobility in transition: challenges and opportunities through digitalization and globalization

At the same time, demand is growing, especially in urban areas and for individual transportation. But more traffic also means more need for action in terms of health, environmental and climate protection. Cities are already choking on congestion, while open spaces are disappearing. Air quality is barely improving despite considerable efforts. Rural areas, on the other hand, have yet to catch up in terms of digitalization and shared amenities. And climate change targets remain a major challenge.

ifok designs the future of mobility holistically

Opinions on how to shape the future of mobility differ. The positions are becoming increasingly entrenched. Be that as it may, we are convinced that the future of mobility can only be shaped if we all work together. Infrastructure, powertrains and fuels, autonomous vehicles, social and health impacts, environmental concerns – all these issues are intertwined and need to be part of the discussion. That’s why our platforms are designed to bring all stakeholders together. We provide space for the exchange of opinions and information. We motivate participants to think outside the box. And we help achieve tangible results. To put it in a nutshell: We are creating a future for mobility that allows us all to be pioneers. Nationally, regionally and locally.

Off-the-peg solutions are not what we do.

We are experts on our topics. We are familiar with the scene and the debates going on within it. We invest in the innovation potential of interdisciplinary teams, data-driven analyses and above all in the experience of the people on location. It’s not the last word that counts for us, but the best solution.
