“Personal and professional growth is a recurring theme that I apply to my various tasks at ifok.”
Kinga Chojnowski
What made you decide to work at ifok?
ifok gives me the opportunity to combine my expertise in planning and ecology with the desire to be involved in challenging and conflictual planning processes at first hand. I am able to constantly grow and develop, which is very important to me.
When did you start at ifok and where were you before?
I have been with ifok since August 2020. Before that, I worked at the environmental planning office Bosch & Partner, where I researched the environmental impact of infrastructure projects and used my knowledge in the context of formal public participation in the management of complaints.
What sets you apart at the office?
Personal and professional growth is important to me. It is a recurring theme that I apply to my various tasks as a Managing Consultant: Leading my team, managing our clients and in our on-site landowner communication. I particularly value a trusting working relationship. My colleagues know me for quickly recognizing their strengths and opening up opportunities to use them in their daily business. 😊
Which three things can you not miss on your next vacation?
My cell phone, headphones and a pinch of curiosity. I use my cell phone to search for routes to the great places I want to explore and can capture them all on photos. I listen to my “vacation playlist” on my headphones, get in a good mood or use the noise-canceling function to reduce the noise level so that I can focus on the moment. My curiosity takes me to exciting places and lets me experience new things. I always come back from my vacation enriched and full of new impressions.
