“Spending time in nature is the best way for me to unwind from my desk job.”
Dr. Julia Harm
Why do you work at ifok?
Here at ifok, I have great colleagues with very broad professional and personal backgrounds. But they all share one goal: to work together and come up with solutions for the genuinely exciting social issues of our time.
When did you start at ifok and where were you beforehand?
After studying economics in Bochum and completing my doctorate in Bremen, I spent many years in Berlin, first on the board of an industry umbrella organization and then as a consultant in a communications agency. After a five-year detour into coaching, I was drawn back to consulting, which is how I ended up at ifok in April 2024.
What sets you apart at the office?
Finding pragmatic solutions and my Ruhr valley brand of humor.
What do you like doing in your free time?
Since I left the big city a few years ago and moved to the countryside, I really enjoy spending my free time outdoors. Whether it’s on horseback, on a bike, on a paddle board or simply in the garden with my family – spending time in nature is the best way for me to unwind from my desk job
